What is festival21?

festival21 is a massive, grass-roots celebration of food, culture, and future.

Taking over the Melbourne Meat Market on Saturday 2 February 2019, festival21 will use knowledge, leadership, art and narrative to demonstrate the powerful potential of food.

What's in the program?

festival21 includes an all-day Main Program supported by workshops, masterclasses, performances and delicious food from local social enterprises.

The Main Program is a ticketed event and a separate ticket is required for EACH session.

  • A description of each session in the main program is provided on our website and upon registering for tickets.

The workshops and masterclasses will be held across three spaces.

  • Runs every hour for 45 minutes, from 11am until 5:45pm.

  • Seats are not ticketed and will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Note: We have had a large number of people claiming tickets for the whole day - although this is very exciting for us, we want you to consider which sessions you can actually attend. Remember, there will be a number of unticketed sessions throughout the day, so make sure to allow yourself time to go and check those out!

Please ONLY claim a ticket for the session you can attend. If your circumstances change, contact us at hello@festival21.com.au so that we can make your ticket available for someone else.

**TICKETS RELEASED 1 DECEMBER 2018**

Ticket sales are on now! Please follow the links below for the Main Program:

How do I get a ticket?

You must have a ticket for EACH session that you want to attend, as spaces are LIMITED!

  • You can claim a maximum of 1 x adult ticket and 2 x child (under 18 years) tickets, per Eventbrite user

As part of the ticket registration, we have a series of questions that will help us understand who will be attending. This will help us tailor festival21 to our attendees.

  • Please ensure that questions are answered by the individual ticket holder.

  • Due to the functionality of Eventbrite, you will be prompted to complete the questions for each session that you purchase. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you in advance for taking the time to answer our questions.

Important points:

Be prompt:

  • Due to the demand for tickets, if you do not arrive on time for the session to start, your seat may be given to another attendee in the waiting line.

Venue capacity:

  • Please note that if the venue reaches capacity, you will have to wait before being allowed to enter the venue. As such, we advise that you arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the start of your session.

Photography disclaimer:

  • festival21 will be taking photos throughout the day. These images will be used by festival21 to share news about the event. Images may be used in press releases, printed publicity and published on social media. If you would prefer for you or your child not to be photographed, please speak to the photographer on the day.
